Mangalore, Apr 7: In another raid on a video library near New Chitra theatre, the DCIB police led by inspector Tilakchandra have seized 9 blue film cassettes and 85 other porno CDs on Wednesday April 5. The police have also arrested one person in this regard.
The police raided Classic Video Library owned by one Gurudat Kamat near New Chitra theatre on a sure tip off that blue films and porno movies were sold and rented out from the library. However, when the police raided the shop, Gurudat was not there. But the police arrested Chilimbi resident Shameer who was working in the shop.
The police sources said that there are quite a few video libraries in the city which have been selling and promoting blue films and porno movies. Here the CDs are available on cheap rental basis.
