50 percent voting in Nepal polls till 1 p.m.


Kathmandu, Nov 19 (IANS): Fifty percent of the electorate had cast their votes till 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Constituent Assembly polls, the Election Commission was quoted as saying.

At 60 percent, the voting has been the in Kavre while the the lowest was in Mustang at 22 percent, Nepalnews.com cited the election commission as saying.

The voting process is underway peacefully in the majority of polling stations, the report added.
