Manisha Koirala battles jaundice after ovarian cancer

Mumbai, Nov 20: Actress Manisha Koirala who had been battling with jaundice for quite some time now, is said to be recovering very well and is taking rest by her manager Subroto Ghosh. It was also clarified that she will be soon returning to work and despite getting many good offers, she remained committed to the projects she had signed before she fell ill.

Apparently she will begin by returning to her shooting schedule for 'Edavapathi' - a Malayalam movie by Lenin Rajendran.

The popular actress who garnered much appreciation for her roles in movies like '1942 - A Love Story','Saudagar', 'Bombay', 'Lajja' and 'Khamoshi' had been absent from the silver screen following her diagnosis and subsequent battle with ovarian cancer.

Married in 2010, she also underwent a divorce two years later in 2012.

Here's hoping to see more of her in better roles in the near future.
