Mangalore, Apr 12: Bishop Aloysius P D'Souza inaugurated 'Light of the World' an exhibition of paintings of Jesus by artist Ganesh Shenoy in the Milagres church meeting hall in the city on Wednesday evening. He appreciated the effort of the painter and the secular spirit behind it.
Well-known artist and Kasaragod Kanchan Ganga Kala Gram's director P S Punchithaya and Milagres church parish priest Fr Walter D'Mello were the chief guests.
Sandesha director Fr Denis D'Sa welcomed and gave a briefing on the idea of the exhibition. Marcel Monteiro and other prominent parishioners were present on the occasion.
The exhibition has begun to attract appreciative crowds. It will remain open between 10-00 am and 7-00 pm until April 16.
