Did not slander Tejpal's victim: editor

New Delhi, Nov 27 (IANS): Tehelka magazine's managing editor Shoma Choudhury Wednesday denied indulging in character assassination of a woman colleague allegedly sexually assaulted by editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal.

"I strongly reject the allegations in the media that I am involved in any manner with any slander, intimidation or character assassination of the complainant journalist," Choudhury said in a brief statement.

"This is a malicious campaign that has no basis in truth," she said.
