Ghaziabad, Nov 29 (IANS): The Ghaziabad Police Friday arrested four people involved in the Nov 25 murder near Karhera bridge, said SP City Muniraj.
Police said the deceased Sunny had a dispute with one Soni alias Sonu, son of Harikishan, a resident of Sonepat, over a plot of land.
To get rid of Sunny, Sonu contacted three other people and hatched a plan. They invited Sunny to a party near the Karhera bridge where, during the drinking session, they hacked him to death using a chopper and threw his motorcycle and the weapon into a field.
The other three confessed to committing the crime and identified themselves as Azmuddin, Iqbal and Rajendra.
"The police have arrested all the four accused and recovered the motorcycle and the chopper from the field," said Muniraj.
