Musicians stand united for Philippines typhoon victims

New Delhi, Nov 29 (IANS): The global music community has come together for the worldwide release of a new compilation titled "Songs for the Philippines”, which has been created to raise money for victims of the Philippines typhoon.

"Songs for the Philippines", a collection of 39 chart-topping hits and classic tracks, is now available worldwide on iTunes, said a statement.

Some of the tracks in the compilation are “Across The Universe” by The Beatles, “Shelter From The Storm” by Bob Dylan, “In A Little While” by U2, “Count On Me” by Bruno Mars, “I Was Here” by Beyonce Knowles, “Make You Feel My Love” by Adele, “Unconditionally” (Johnson Somerset Remix) by Katy Perry.

All proceeds from “Songs For The Philippines” will be directed to the Philippines Red Cross, an organisation that provides quality life-saving services, especially for indigent Filipinos in vulnerable situations.
