Doha, Dec 3: Mangalore Cultural Association earned another feather in its cap by successfully steering the 4th Voice Workshop for all Mangalorean Konkani singers in Doha-Qatar. The well-known singer /composer/ musician from Mangalore Alwyn Noronha Bajpe conducted this workshop.

The workshop began with MCA’s theme song. The emcee Benjamin Reberio invited advisory ccommittee member Wilfred Fernandes to present Allwyn with a bouquet as a token of gratitude. He then welcomed all the attendees and handed over the dais to Allwyn Noronha.

Alwyn Noronha is known to train singers as he has prepared many singers for inter-parish singing competitions and he is also a well-experienced teacher by profession. Thus his guidance and fashion of conducting the training was well appreciated by all the 30 plus participants.

Indeed, the workshop was much above the expectations of the participants. Alwyn Noronha interacted with the participants and shared a many tips for good singing. He taught a lot of exercises that help in ameliorating the singing quality and performance. He shared his experiences as a singer, musician and trainer with the participants. Towards the end of the training the participants were given a chance to sing and get assessed by the trainer himself.

The participants were presented with participation certificates. Benjamin Reberio proposed the vote of thanks.

The workshop was advantageous to all and the participants requested more of such kind.

The Voice workshop was very informative and very useful. Highly beneficial for me to improve my singing. Happy to be associated with the Mangalore Cultural Association which has so far organised 4 different Voice workshops and all of them were very educative. Thanks Alwyn Noronha for sharing your vast knowledge on singing. All the attendees have given a good feedback. Hope to have more of these kinds.
