Panaji, Apr 20: The Campal ground in Panaji is right now abuzz with the movements of some most awesome horses the state has ever seen.


A horse-riding training camp is in full swing, training young boys from Maharashtra. The selected candidates are to take part in the special show ridingcompetition which is scheduled on April 22, 2006 at the very same venue.

The camp has been organized by the Maharashtra Equestrian Association. The Indian Army too showed its interest in the camp and have sent their most educative horses to Goa with a declared purpose in hepling the organizers.

 

The young boys will be trained in tent-pegging, trick riding and show riding. The association is alsoshowing its keen interest in building up horse-riding culture in Goa.
