Mangalore, Apr 21: It was a memorable home-coming for Ganesh Hegde, after a good 25 years' gap. It was as a boy of seven that he had left for Mumbai. And thereafter it was the very first visit to his place of birth for him.

Hegde was in town for the inauguration of Twins Real Estate near Bendore Well. He was also at Sapphire Advertisers.

But the best time he had with a bunch of children at the Mangalore Excellent Dance Academy in Kunil Complex, Bendore Well.

Children went ga-ga over him and everyone - including adults - wanted to shake hands with him, talk to him and pose with him for photographs.

With his family roots in Mittodi-Kuttettur near Suratkal on the outskirts of the city, Ganesh has not forgotten Tulu, although appearing to be overly conscious about possible errors in speaking in his mother-tongue.
