Body found in Bradford suspected to be of Indian

London, Dec 6 (IANS): Police suspect that a body found in a river in British city of Bradford might be of an Indian-origin woman, who has been missing since Oct 23, media reports said Friday.

The body was found from the Aire river around 1.35 p.m., and might be of Indian-origin Seemberjeet Kaur, the Telegraph and Argus reported.

Kaur, 35, was a resident of Wibsey and the mother of a three-year-old child. She was last seen at Roberts Park in Saltaire Oct 23.

She was reportedly under medication for depression.

According to media reports, she was supposed to take her daughter from a nursery school but did not turn up. Her husband, Baljeet, raised an alarm when the school contacted him to inform that no one came to pick up their child.

Kaur reportedly took a taxi from her home around 10 a.m. Oct 23 and was dropped off in the Salts Mill area of Saltaire about half an hour later.

CCTV footage showed she spent around three hours in the Roberts Park where she used to go regularly with her child.
