BSF seizes 12 kg explosives in Bengal, one held


Kolkata, Dec 9 (IANS): The BSF Monday arrested a man in West Bengal's Malda district for trying to smuggle 12 kg of explosives to Bangladesh, an official statement said.

Kaliachak resident Zaizul Haque was held at Churiantpur border outpost and the explosives seized from him, said the Border Security Force (BSF) statement.

Earlier Saturday, BSF troopers seized 20 kg of explosives from Nimtita BOP in Murshidabad district.
