Delhi: Children's festival held at Ryan International

New Delhi, Dec 7: Ryan international education community organization inaugurated their annual international children festival and arts exhibition on Thursday December 7 evening at Takatora stadium.

The festival is being organized in the aegis of Indian council for relations and National Bala Bhavan organization.  The theme was 'bright future for tomorrow'.  It was inaugurated by central minister for trade and transport, Professor K V Thomas.  He wished the best of luck for the festival.

Central minister E Ahmed and minister of state for finance, Jesudas Seelam were present as chief guests. Dr Augustine F Pinto, founder of Ryan international group of institutes and Grace Pinto, administrative director lauded the achievements of the organization.

Besides children from India, more than 12,000 children from 21 countries including Bangladesh, Egypt, Finland, Germany, Indonesia, Iceland, Italy, Iran, Litvia, Nepal, Lithuvania, Norway, Morocco, Russia, Spain, Srilanka, Thailand, Turkey, Pakistan, United Kingdom and Zambia and from around the world participated in the festival and displayed the Indian culture by way of unique dances.  Children of other countries displayed their historical culture and tradition in their village stalls.

The programme began with children’s prayer and welcome song. Grace Pinto read the Bible, led the prayer and wished the programme well. She also gave a key note address and presented guests with mementos and flower bouquets. Chief executive officer of the organization, Rayan A Pinto also presented flower bouquets to the guests.

The concluding ceremony of the festival that will last for five days in five different places in the capital, will be held on Sunday, December 11 afternoon at National Bal Bhavan, New Delhi.
