Afghan president arrives on four-day visit

New Delhi, Dec 12 (IANS): Afghan President Hamid Karzai arrived here Thursday on a four-day visit during which he is to meet Prime Minister Mannmohan Singh and hold talks on bilateral issues, including Afghanistan's request for military hardware.

It is Karzai's 14th visit to India and his third in a year.

Karzai's visit is on the invite of the Pune-based Symbiosis University where he is to give a lecture on Sunday.

The Afghan president meets the prime minister on Friday.
