Chennai, Apr 27: The Tamil Nadu State Election Commission has issued 'shoot-at-sight' orders against those who indulge in violence during the May 8 Assembly polls.

It has also ordered special security arrangements in the booths identified as 'sensitive' like deployment of para-military forces along with state police.

Over 580 booths of the 2344 here have been identified as 'sensitive'. The City Police Commissioner Lethika Saran today visited several booths identified as sensitive.

She told reporters that para-military forces would arrive here on May 3 and would be deployed in sensitive booths.
