Dublin: Konkans Ireland host Christmas celebration

Dublin, Dec 16: Konkans Ireland celebrated the annual Christmas programme on December 14 at Liffey Gaels, GAA club, Dublin.
 
People gathered for the event at 2:30 pm and were welcomed by Rosita Mathias.

Fr Suresh Babu prayed for God's blessings, followed by a Bharatanatyam prayer dance by Shobha Fernades.

There were kids and adult carol singing with Santa. After which non stop cultural program with dance, songs and skits by kids and adults followed to entertain the gathering.
 
Since there is no volunteer to lead the group for 2014, all families were divided into four groups to perform the events in 2014. Vijay Bennis agreed to be the chair person. The current year annual report and financial account statement were presented to the group by Saritha Moras.
 
Vote of thanks was given by Ashok Cutinho. The whole program was compered by Vanita D’Souza.
 
Delicious food was served. Christmas gifts were presented to all the kids. The dance floor was open to all and people enjoyed a dance session.
