Pakistan wants peace with neighbours: Sharif


Islamabad, Dec 18 (IANS): Pakistan's desires peaceful relations with neighbours, particularly India and Afghanistan, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said Wednesday.

"Pakistan's intentions towards its neighbours are positive and (it) expects similar reciprocity," the Associated Press of Pakistan quoted the prime minister as saying.

Sharif was addressing the rolling out ceremony of the 50th JF-17 Thunder aircraft at the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex at Kamra in Punjab province.

Sharif welcomed the upcoming meeting of the directors general of military operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India Dec 24.

He said Pakistan would also start exporting the aircraft.
