Harsh Kumar Bhanwala is Nabard's new chairman


New Delhi, Dec 18 (IANS): Harsh Kumar Bhanwala Wednesday took charge as chairman of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard).

He succeeded Prakash Bakshi, who retired in September 2013, after which Snehlata Shrivastava, additional secretary, department of financial services, ministry of finance, was given the additional charge of the post.

Prior to this appointment, Bhanwala was the executive director at India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd, a state-owned infrastructure lender.
