260 complaints against Delhi hospitals


New Delhi, Dec 18 (IANS): A total of 260 complaints were received against hospitals in Delhi for not providing free treatment to patients from economically weaker sections, parliament was told Wednesday.

While 162 complaints were disposed off, 98 were under process, Minister of State for Urban Development Deepa Dasmunshi informed the Rajya Sabha.

Dasmunshi also said 62 allotees have been given land at subsidised rates for construction of hospitals in the capital.
