Outdoor games held for Kolkata slum kids

Kolkata, Dec 21 (IANS): Hundreds of children from slums and red-light areas Saturday participated in outdoors games organised by an NGO here.

With less open space due to urbanisation, and increasing inclination towards online games and television, kids no longer play outdoor games, said Monidipa, a member of non-governmental organisation Child In Need Institute.

Emphasising on children's right to play, Monidipa said the event was organised for the fifth time.
