Won't tolerate terrorist attacks: Pakistan army chief


Islamabad, Dec 21 (IANS): Pakistan's new army chief General Raheel Sharif said Saturday that terrorist attacks would not be tolerated in the country, a media report said.

The army chief reiterated full support to the government-led ongoing peace process, Geo News reported.

General Sharif visited the Corps Headquarters in Peshawar city Saturday, where he was briefed about various operations, training and administrative matters.

He became the new army chief Nov 29, succeeding Gen. Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, who headed the army for six years.
