Chilly morning, clear day ahead for Delhi


New Delhi, Dec 28 (IANS): Delhiites woke up to a chilly Saturday with the minimum temperature recorded two notches below average at 4.9 degrees Celsius. The Met Office forecasts clear day ahead in the national capital.

"The day will remain clear though there was mist witnessed in the morning," said the India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 18 degrees Celsius.
Humidity at 8:30 a.m. was 94 percent.

Friday's maximum temperature dropped four notches below the season's average at 17.1 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded a notch below the season's average at 6.5 degrees Celsius.
