New Delhi, Dec 30 (IANS): For all those ready to don their party hats and bid adieu to 2013 in the open, the weather might strike a dampening note.
An official of the India Meteorological Department said that though fog is not likely to play spoilsport, the city can expect rainfall in some areas.
"The day will witness a partly clouded sky. However, light rain or thundershowers could occur in some areas till noon," the official said.
The day's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 19 degrees Celsius and 17 degrees Celsius respectively.
