Court directs police to slap FIR against Bharti

New Delhi, Jan 19 (IANS): A court has directed Delhi Police to lodge a FIR against Delhi Law Minister Somnath Bharti for allegedly entering the house of some African women here. The minister denied the charge.

Metropolitan Magistrate Chetna Singh has told police to file charges of mischief, trespassing and criminal intimidation against Bharti after hearing a plea filed by the Africans, a police officer said.

The minister had reached the house last week following complaints from residents of the area in south Delhi that they were part of a prostitution and drug ring.

Minister Bharti said he had no information about the court order.

"I have no idea of any case being registered. If anyone has filed such a case, I will go and present my stand," he told the media.

Bharti maintained that the entire episode had been recorded on camera and "none of our volunteers touched anyone".

"No one is paying attention to the impact of drugs on the youths. No one is paying attention to the rackets that are operating," he said.

He accused the police of complicity in the sex and drug racket.

BJP leader is disgustingly at his best while using the opportunity to criticize AAP with terms like racism. Instead of pointing out the silly procedural mistake of AAP minister, why can’t we see the larger picture behind this entire episode? Why these rogue politicians are underestimating the intelligence of public every time? Where is the question of racism arises here? The election season comes and all major party leaders get infected with the symptoms of verbal diarrhea!! Can't they see the African drug & prostitution rackets are penetrating the potential Indian market and slowly extending their bloody arm all across the country? Should we assume the vigilantism of BJP in Karnataka and recent incidents in GOA streets where the BJP is in power, also an act of racism? Can we remember any CONG or BJP minister in the entire political history swiftly responded to the call of public security in the middle of the night? AAP ministers could have ignored this issue and sleep tight with family in posh govt bungalows under the cover of Z category security!! Why AAP ministers roaming on the streets in the middle of the night looking after the interests of public safety issues risking their own lives? Should we assume that these drug mafia & prostitution rackets are running under the sponsorship of elite political cadres of BJP & CONG? Hence diverting public attention by accusing AAP of anarchy to protect own illicit relationships with these anti social elements? For GOD’s sake, let us stop playing Holier than Thou attitude and work together when similar large issues of public security is in question. OR should we let them grow big enough till one of our own family member fall victim to these drug menace & prostitution rackets?

If it is so, in the Morning Mist incident, the animals should have been booked for mischief, trespassing, attempted rape, robbery etc. etc. etc. and should have been caged for life. Unfortunately, Namo brigade was planning to honor these animals for their dirty act. Kamaal ki judiciary hai yaaar.

For your information, Delhi police dept is coming under Central Govt, which is ruled by Congress and its alliances. AAP govt. is supported by congress. Then what is the logic behind bringing the name of Namo brigade here. This shows how frustrated you are growing with the popularity of Mr. Modi.
