Arvind Kejriwal hospitalised

New Delhi, Jan 22 (IANS): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was hospitalised Wednesday morning due to severe lung congestion, an AAP party member said.

He was not well last night and was taken to Yashoda hospital near his residence in Kaushambi by his wife early in the morning.

He has been suffering from severe cough for the past several days.

Kejriwal and his cabinet colleagues held a sit-in in the heart of Delhi to demand control over Delhi Police and action against five police personnel who they say did not cooperate with them. The agitation ended Tuesday after two police officials went on leave.

He slept in the open during the sit-in.

Mr. Jude, for your kind attention it is not Craziwal, it is Kejriwal. If you are doing it unknowingly you got that excuse. But if you are using this tactic to create some kind of humour or scorn shame on you. Would you keep it quite if somebody deliberately twists your name and calls you Mr. Rude ?

Mr. Kejriwal is doing it selflessly but you are totally blinded by Congressmania who has sold our country to few industrialists and groups who have got the final say in all common men’s issues like prices, etc. Congress is controlling Delhi police, which means effectively AAP has no control over the crime, organized drug rackets, mobs (like Hindu rakshak group which ransacked their offices) etc. So, there is nothing wrong in asking for control over local police which is legitimate.

Mr. Kejriwal must extend the same agitation to bring that ever-elusive Jan Lokpal bill in Delhi which will spell doom to all petty corruptions by the goonda type cops in Delhi.

To me every act of his has been crazy and so I deliberately call him Craziwal and to this end you can call me Rude. No problems there. I do not hear you saying anything about Bharati, his language and his behavior and your savior Craziwal too stoutly defend him. Today since Crazy is in power it is ok with you for the Delhi Police to come under him and tomorrow if at all he comes to power at the centre it will be ok with you if he takes control of the CBI. It is people like you who have lost the sense of understanding what reality is and have begun worshiping Crazy and whatever he does and says is the ultimate truth.

To you guys him and his supporters are the only honest people in the country and the entire country otherwise is corrupt. He has been hurling accusations on everyone about being corrupt and saying that he would provide proof, but so far has not been able to provide any, and to you blindly accept every accusation of his as the truth. Today he has the reins of government but wants to run away from responsibility. How else would you like to describe a person like him other than CRAZY.

Kejriwal’s tactics may appear ‘crazy’ and ‘unconventional’. He may be accused of ‘Dharna politics’. He may be accused of not doing things befitting a CM. However, if his intentions are good and sincere (I believe they are) then maybe such confrontational tactics are the need of the hour in Indian politics to ‘wake up’ and ‘shake up’ the political system and government institutions in our country. However, he must not get too confrontational and must carefully choose his methods/tactics, whether it be to protest or be it to implement some programs, so as to ensure those tactics do not cause more harm than good whereby they have the reverse effect. Today, the political systems and government institutions in India symbolize inefficiency, apathy and have become breeding grounds for corruption (irrespective of which political party is in power). This is not what our founding fathers wanted for India.
I said in my earlier comment that Kejriwal is a quick learner and right on time he called off the agitation, even though all of the AAP’s demands were not met because I believe he realized that the timing of the protests (on the heels of Republic Day) and tactics used (in this case) for protesting were not proper.

I think the reason he has been doing so many U-turns is because he is still in the process of learning the ‘Governance/Administration’ side of politics. He must be given a little time because he will get better as he gains more experience. People should not expect miracles overnight.
AAP may be opposing the Congress, but Congress supporters must realize that AAP are also opposing the BJP and as a Congress supporter, I feel we also need to support anybody (if they do not have blood on their hands) who can keep Modi out of power, if the Congress does not succeed in doing that. At least for now Arvind has succeeded in keeping Modi out of the news.

Hats off Sheila Dixit. Being a woman she ruled Delhi for 15 years without any problem. When she took up Delhi for the first time, NDA was in power at central, but she never complained about police not cooperating with her govt. Being a gentleman, Mr.Kejriwal not able rule for 3 weeks also. Within a short period he got lung problem, fever, etc. etc. so what about next years? His ministers engaged with moral policing and law minister attacked on woman and asked for a urine sample from her. What a shame! Still Kejriwal keeping him in his cabinet and trying to defend and justify him. Delhi is going to become a unrest state very soon, and the civil war going to be start shortly because CM is a street sleeper. Delhi people wanted peaceful life, they do not want to live in a violent society with strike, etc. Protest going to be routine in Delhi because of CM. Dear Kejriwal please resign for CM post and join any Auto union or Trade union, you can participate in strikes in daily basis. Also, you can instruct your ministers to come to Managalore and join BD/HJV since they are very expert in moral police. Delhi people are regretting for voting AAP.

Shiela Dixit ? My God, the tired CM who never bothered about common people. It is under her failed rule all the evil took place in Delhi. All she was concerned was to have good relation with the Home Ministry, least bothering about what is happening to people. Thank God, wise people of Delhi threw her out of power. The only hope for India is Mr. Kajeriwal, though unseasoned politician, he will clear the system of all evil. Jai Hind.

Dear Mr. Kejriwal, you did this for common men. However, people are ungrateful. They expect you to sit in the A.C. Room like other Ministers and do a magic to change corrupt system. All the political parties try their best to picture you as a bad politician because they are scared of you. They can never do what you have done for the people. Success or failure, but you have a great vision for the betterment of common people. No CM can sleep on street braving cold and rain demanding for a change in present, corrupt political system. Ministers are scared of your bravery, honesty, sacrifice. We, Indians, are used to corrupt and communal leadership. Sorry sir, your efforts won't bear fruit due to weak mentality of people. India needs you. Though many curses and make fun of you, few of us who want peace & unity among our fellow Indians and a corruption/communal free government will pray for you. Get well soon sir ! Jai Hind.

Some ‘brainy’ guys in this forum are really out of their brains and do not know how to even write ethically. They are happy if everything goes on ‘normal’ without knowing how much difficulty the common man has to endure because of these small time corrupt cops which is controlled by the big time corrupt party. There is absolutely nothing wrong in the way AK has reacted and this is the only way and the best way. Only AK can set the system right. Wish AK a speedy recovery and to get back to his normal working.

The ‘brainy’ guys in this column are either ‘blind of deaf’ because they are affiliated to one or other corrupt / communal party.

Yes, that is because some non brainy guys are happy at being brain washed. They don't understand the contradictions when Craziwal who once fought for independence for the CBI now wants the Delhi Police to be under him so that he too, and goons in his party like Bharati can use it as their personal army. The guys who did not want the cops to dance to the whims and fancies of Ministers now are agitating because the cops did not dance to the tunes of a goon minister called Somnath Bharati. I would have appreciated if he had asked for the independence of the Delhi police and also Police reforms, but NO. He now wants his own army to bully his opponents. That is the true colour of Craziwal, but unfortunately many non brainy guys have gone colour blind.

It is imperative for institutions like CBI, SC, EC, CAG, ED, etc. to be totally independent of the government if justice and transparency is to prevail in the country. Mr. Kejriwal’s wants to bring Delhi Police under the Delhi Government, which is just as in other states of the country. He’s not demanding something out of the question. Transfer of police control from centre to Delhi State Govt. will definitely cleanse and purify the Capitals’ policing system to a great extent.

That is simply not possible, because there is a difference between Delhi and other states. The blunder was made years ago by granting Delhi statehood, which is why all these problems are now cropping up. New Delhi is the seat of government and there are so many aspects that the involved like the security of not only the national leaders, but also international heads of states and governments, diplomats, national monuments, parliament etc, and a state government will simply not be able to handle them. The other alternative is to form a special police for the Delhi state government which will only be responsible for handling law and order in the territory, but how feasible that will be is another tricky question.

    Yet another drama by Lierwal...

This AK ( Cancer to India )can go to any extent to protect his ministers, Earlier, he was shouting Congress and BJP for not taking action on accused ministers, now he too speaks in the same language like there is enquiry against law minister, and it is yet to prove, so why to take action when it is not proven... Double standard Dramabazz...

The Entire protest was safeguarded his tainted law minister and to protect his Ego... Delhi HC ordered to File a FIR against his ministers, and he wanted to overcome the embarrassment so this drama of Dharna...

Just look at the Facts of this Dharna...

To save one Minister from going to jail for unwarranted raid, he appoints 3250 policemen, More than 32 hours of traffic JAM, 5 Metros Blocked, More than 3 Lacs Cars and Motor vehicles Stuck, More than 3 Lac Civilians affected, as a result more than 32 hours of Media Publicity..

Why Did he Took back the Dharna :: His movement started with Anna Hazare Janlokpal bill, he said Dharna's wont work in Long term,so formed d party, now become CM,n went back to Dharna, So if Dharna is d medicine, Y did he Formed the Party! Now when he realized Centre wont bug him, he contacted few congress ministers to provide him a face saver, Requested them at least send few policemen on leave, so that he can call off the Dharna. This is wht exactly happened.. He did not gain anything other than Negative publicity and Anger..

Now,Ugandan National names Somnath Bharti says 'he led the attacks, and his arrest is imminent after the police comes back from leave, This Lierwal went n hospitalized himself, another drama to get away from mounting pressure to take action against his tainted minister...

Is this d Change what Delhits expected, Is is why Delhits voted him, This guy not fit even to be Mayor, Indian might not have seen Any Anarchic CM like his before.. SHAME ON HIM.. SHAME ON LIERWAL... BADLUCK Delhits for trusting and VOTING HIM...

Aravindh Kejriwal has half succeeded and half utterly failed.

    1) Violent protests of life threatening through road blocks causing humans day to day works utterly hindered by a person who holds key position of administration, which is a blunder and closed down his protests form fear of once P.M., met the President. Pranada.

    2) Police also learned lessons not to take haptha from the drug lords, peddlers, brothel houses, roadside small, small shop vendors and prostitutes. – These are the virus hit to police departments of every state. - Some crimes are encouraged by the police like virus.

WHY? The Police may be wrong in many ways, but why are two officers sent on leave for performing their duty while the goon minister remains free? Is goondagiri better than corruption?
