Mangalore, May 16: Yogish R (47), a soldier in the Border Security Force (BSF), passed away in a hospital on Monday.

He hailed from Madoor near Ullal on the outskirts of the city. He had come down on leave and had been hit by a motorbike while crossing the road near Pumpwell on Sunday night.

He succumbed to the injury on Monday.
