Chilly morning in Delhi


New Delhi, Jan 25 (IANS): Delhi residents experienced a chilly Saturday morning. The minimum temperature settled two notches below the season's average at 9.4 degrees Celsius.

The Met Office has forecast a cloudy day ahead.

"The day started with shallow fog in the morning while the sky throughout the day is expected to remain cloudy," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 18 degrees Celsius.

The humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 100 percent and the visibility was 300 meters.

Friday's minimum temperature was recorded 11 degrees Celsius - three notches above the season's average, while the maximum temperature settled at 18 degrees Celsius - three notches below the season's average.
