New Delhi, Jan 27 (IANS): A man strangled his wife to death with a wire after an argument over a petty issue in south Delhi's Okhla area, police said Monday. He was later arrested.
The incident came to light Monday morning when neighbours found the body of Razia Tabassum, 25, lying inside the house.
The victim's husband, Ali Imaam, 34, was arrested from the Okhla area itself Monday afternoon. He was missing from his house since Sunday night.
During interrogation, Imaam confessed to his crime.
He told police that following a heated argument, he strangled his wife with a wire.
