Twenty booked for Bokaro steel plant recruitment fraud


New Delhi, Jan 28 (IANS): The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Tuesday registered two cases against 20 serving and retired officials of the Steel Authority of India Ltd's (SAIL) Bokaro plant for allegedly favouring candidates during recruitment process.

The CBI is also carrying out raids at the offices and houses of the allegedly guilty people in nine cities including Ranchi, Patna, Bokaro, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Mumbai and the National Capital Region (NCR).
