Mulayam warns UP ministers over Lok Sabha polls


Lucknow, Jan 29 (IANS): Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav Wednesday warned that Uttar Pradesh ministers will be eased out if the party lost the Lok Sabha election in their areas.

Yadav asked all the ministers to fan out in the state and publicise the "good work" done by the state government led by his son Akhilesh Yadav, praty sources said.

He also asked the ministers to counter the "negative publicity" by the opposition and the media.

The Samajwadi Party holds 22 seats in the outgoing Lok Sabha.
