Hooda slapped by youth

Chandigarh, Feb 2 (IANS): Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda was slapped by a youth while he was going for a rally in the state's industrial city of Panipat.

The youth, whose identity was not immediately known, tried to step on an open SUV on which Hooda was standing, and in a flash, slapped the chief minister.

The youth was immediately pounced upon by Haryana Police personnel around Hooda and whisked away from the scene.

An agitated Hooda could be seen giving instructions to the security personnel following the incident.

Hooda was standing at the front seat of an open Gypsy SUV and was part of a Congress roadshow while going towards the rally venue in Panipat, 170 km from here.

Hooda enjoys Z category security with scores of heavily armed security personnel around him all the time.

    Lancelot..don't show your dirty mind here. Your reference to chaiwala party is not appreciated here. The youth has done a good job. Every corrupt and criminal politician deserves this. But fools like you support the corrupt. Even if these corrupt will try to sell your wife, you are the one who will keep silent. This is your mentality. This slap should be a warning to all corrupt politicians. Some months back, one youth slapped Sharad Pawar, the great thug and criminal of Indian politics. Many more to follow this as people are fed up of this goon politician. Now don't tell me Hooda is innocent. Hooda is notorious criminal.

    While I do not approve violence of any kind, in the heart of hearts I am so happy that this youth has managed to give vent to his feelings. Corrupt and arrogant politicians need to be taught a lesson. Slapping may not be the right thing to do, but something drastic needs to be done to save this country from the clutches of these rogues.
