Binny terms Kejriwal 'dangerous', decides to withdraw support to Delhi govt

New Delhi, Feb 5 (PTI): Expelled AAP MLA Vinod Kumar Binny today decided to withdraw support to the Delhi Government, while terming Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of being "more dangerous" than a corrupt person.

"Today I am writing to Lt Governor Najeeb Jung apprising him of my decision to withdraw support to Kejriwal government. Kejriwal is more dangerous than a corrupt person. He is telling lies and deceiving not only citizens of Delhi, but also people of the entire country," he said.

Binny, however, said he would support the government on the matter of Jan Lokpal Bill.

"If they government brings Anna's (Hazare) Janlokpal Bill in the assembly for its passage, I will support them," said Binny.

Binny, who has been shown the door for "indiscipline" by AAP, has put forth a series of demands before Delhi Government which include fulfilment of promises made by the party before the Assembly polls.

Claiming support of at least five legislators, Binny had on Sunday threatened to pull down the government if his demands were not met within 48 hours.

He had asked the government to sort out issues related to power and water sector. He demanded that government should give subsidy on 8 per cent increase in power surcharge. The DERC has increased the power surcharge ranging from 6 to 8 per cent this month.

He had also said that "The government should make women squads as promised to prioritise security of women. Instead of charging people for entire 700 litres of water after exceeding the limit, the government should charge only for water consumed over 700 litres.

Binny had also said that he would also form a political front with two other AAP MLAs, who were in touch with him, along with municipal councillors.

However, the two MLAs Iqbal and Shokeen did a U-turn and said they would not go ahead with their threat.

The two legislators had said they changed their mind after a meeting with Kejriwal and claimed that Binny had also agreed not to withdraw support to AAP government.

Mr. Kejriwal and AAP want to get out of Delhi because now they are stuck there and concentrate in rest of India. But Congress not interested. That’s why they are not withdrawing support. Hence AAP is using more lethal weapons like JanLokPal and the case against Sheila Aunty. So, now Cong has to withdraw support. Binny is just a small corrupt fly. He is sold to BJP.

If you remove your mask of Prejudice you will realise it is kind of political miracle that AAP is running the government with just 27MPs. They are forced to make government by putting the challenge by both congress and BJP. They dont have control and cooperation of police department either. With all the limitation what they delivered in one month of their government even though they did not have previous experience is unmatchable with any government. To see that you have to remove your glass of prejudice.

    Dear friends
    BELOW IS FROM AAP newsletter:
There has been widespread speculation about the seats the AAP will be contesting in the Lok Sabha election. We wish to reiterate that this is not about winning elections and "substituting" the parties in power. It's about an "alternative politics" driven by a deep desire to bring about change at every level in our politics. As a first step, we have announced a target list of politicians with records of serious corruption charges against them. Our foremost goal will be to defeat these candidates and drive home the message of zero-tolerance for corruption.

Friends, I am sure you understand that defeating such candidates is an uphill battle. They have virtually unlimited cash reserves and the power to stand up to the toughest opposition. So we need all the support we can get to ensure the defeat of these candidates.

Binny and BJP are trying to pull down the AAP Govt., based on the performance of one month. If BJP and Congress were in power they should have spent at least 3 months only in victory rallies and processions. Whoever planing to bring AAP govt. down should aware that the voter is intelligent and watching. This AK 14 ( Arvind Kejriwal of 2014)is not a simple gun.

@Wilfred, your commentary on the going ons in AAP is ridiculous. If BJP wished to form Govt, they could have done earlier itself at the first chance. By denying they have shown moral respect to democracy in Delhi. AAP, taking help from the corrupt Congress - Whom incidentally, they opposed & defeated in the recent polls are now licking feet of Raul & Sonia to stay alive & be the B team of Congress....By propping AAP, congress is digging its own grave in Delhi Assembly

Dear J.anata, BJP and Congress are smart not to run as everyone knows. This is not because of they have any moral of democracy, it is because AAP promised a lot, which can not be fulfilled by any political party. Congress and BJP are 150 years old party. BJP is the breakaway party of congress. So, both parties are different side of the same coin. The BJP and congress want to deliver few things at the end of the five year term which AAP delivered within few days. If AAP government falls and they go for election mark my words, there won't be an opposition party in Delhi and only AAP will rule.
I am not against Modi, one Modi can not change other corrupted BJP. NaMo can win from any part of India, but BJP can not win with absolute majority. Watch how AK and NaMO will rule after the election and compare them.

Mr. Binny must have brokered the "Deal" with some other political parties!!!

To withdraw support to Delhi Government is purely his "Personal Decision" and no one can stop him from doing so.

Coming to the core issue of Kejriwal "dangerous" ...Only "Time" will tell us because nobody knows his party and the government in Delhi is heading southwards OR Northwards!!! It's a big question mark as of date with the kind of "Tamashas" they are creating day by day.

Binny may be expressing his frustration and could be due to some selfish reasons. But his statement on Kejriwal has substance.

How can a person ( Kejriwal ) describe himself as Anarchy, takes U turn on every word he gives (even taking the oath on his child's name) & has the audacity to ask people to allow him to commit mistakes and learn at the cost of people/nation can be believed. Further, he is playing into the hands of Congress and wants to split non-congress votes as Chiranjivi did in AP. Every one knows the fate of Chiranjivi, who has become the slave of Congress, but at the cost of Andhra Pradesh which is being split.

Only hope India will not have the fate of Andhra Pradesh and scheming Congress and Kejri do not succeed.
