Greater Noida, Feb 5 (IANS):  Auto major Hyundai Wednesday launched the all new Santa Fe sports utility vehicle (SUV) here, a day a day before the 12th Auto Expo opens, at a starting price of just over Rs.26 lakh.

"The third generation Santa Fe is powerful and dynamic. It is one the finest expressions of modern premium with high levels of performance," said B.S. Seo, managing director and CEO of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL).

The new Santa Fe is much more curvaceous and aggressive compared to the earlier generation. The three-bar hexagonal chrome grille upfront and wraparound, curved head and tail lamps with LED day-time running lights look stunning.

Available in two and four wheel drive versions and a six speed manual and automatic transmission, the Santa Fe delivers around 15 km per litre (manual) and 13 in the automatic model.

The two wheel drive (manual) Santa Fe is priced at Rs.26.3 lakh, while the automatic would cost Rs.27.15 lakh. The four-wheel drive automatic is available for Rs.29.25 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi.
