Fire at toy factory in Delhi


New Delhi, Feb 5 (IANS): A major fire broke out in a toy factory here Wednesday evening, said an official of the Delhi Fire Service. However, no one was injured.

The fire broke out around 4 p.m. at the factory located in Mudka area of west Delhi, the official said.

As many as 35 fire tenders were pressed into service. The fire fighters were trying to douse the flames.

"The labourers working in the factory rushed outside soon after the fire started. No casualty was reported," the officer added.

Police said the fire was apparently due to a short circuit.
