Mumbai, Feb 7: The GSB Mandal Dombivili celebrated ‘Maghi Ganapathi Utsav’ for the sixth year on Monday February 3 at Swayamvara Sabagruha, Parthali, of Dombivili West.

Various religious rituals were performed, that included mass prayer, ‘Ganapathi Prana Prathiste’, ‘Ganahoma’, ‘Mooda Ganapathi Seve’, ‘Bhajan, ‘Annasantharpane’, ‘Maha Pooja’, and  ‘Ranga Pooja ‘. The beautifully decorated idol was then taken in a grand procession for immersion.

In order to suit nature, the idol was prepared with Kundapur clay soil, like every year, prepared by a famous well-known artist from Mangalore. Lots of devotees took part in this event and sought blessings from God.
