Sunny Sunday in Delhi


New Delhi, Feb 9 (IANS): It was a pleasant Sunday morning in the national capital. The Met Office has forecast a clear and sunny day.

The minimum temperature was seven degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.

"Though there was moderate fog in the morning, but the sky throughout the day is to remain clear and the day warm," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 20 degrees Celsius.

According to the Northern Railway, 11 trains were delayed due to the foggy weather in northern parts of the country.

Humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 95 percent.

Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 16.5 degrees Celsius, six notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 14.2 degrees Celsius, six notches above the season's average.
