Jammu, Feb 18 (IANS): Opposition legislators Tuesday walked out of the Jammu and Kashmir assembly demanding the setting up of a Dogri television channel in the state.
Amid din and confusion, legislators of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the Panthers Party and the Jammu Shakti Morcha staged the protest in the house now holding its winter session here.
They demanded the Dogri television channel on the pattern of DD Kashmir, which beams signals through the Doordarshan satellite platform.
