New Delhi, Feb 19 (IANS): The pleasant, sunny weather continued in the capital Wednesday and the maximum temperature settled a notch below the season's average at 23.3 degrees Celsius. Similar weather is in store Thursday, the Met office said.
"There will be light fog early morning tomorrow (Thursday) and the skies will remain partly cloudy through the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 24 and 9 degrees Celsius.
Wednesday morning was nippy and the minimum temperature settled four notches below the season's average at 7.1 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, fog in parts of north India affected train arrivals into Delhi with a dozen trains getting delayed, the Northern Railway said.
Delhi experienced a pleasant Tuesday with the maximum temperature recorded at 23.2 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 9.5 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
