Ekta Dhingra's MashaAllah inspired by Pakistani tribal wear


New Delhi, Feb 27 (IANS): Indian ethnic wear designer Ekta Dhingra has taken inspiration from Pakistani tribal wear for her latest collection titled MashaAllah.

The spring-summer collection consists of shararas, ghararas, abayas, suthans and more in rangeen gota on chiffons, laces and nets.

“My inspiration lies on the Pakistani tribal wear with a twist with contemporary designs in order to give a unique new era of fashion. This collection of mine depicts festivity and is inspired by today’s women,” Dhingra, owner of Rabha’s by Ekta store, said in a statement.

The collection, a perfect blend of trend and tradition, will be unveiled here March 8.
