Foggy Sunday in Delhi


New Delhi, March 2 (IANS): The national capital was enveloped by fog Sunday morning with the weather becoming chilly. The Met Office, however, forecast the day to clear and become warmer.

The minimum temperature was recorded three notches below average at 10.0 degrees Celsius.

"The day will become clearer with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 22 degrees Celsius," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 94 percent.

Saturday's maximum temperature was recorded at 20.5 degrees Celsius, six notches below the season's average, while the minimum was 12 degrees Celsius, average for the season.
