New Delhi, March 3 (IANS): The national capital woke up to a chilly Monday morning. The Met Office has forecast a cloudy day ahead.
The day's minimum temperature settled at 10.5 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
"A mainly clear sky will become party clouded during the day. Shallow fog was recorded in the morning," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 23 degrees Celsius.
The humidity recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 93 percent.
Sunday's maximum temperature settled five notches below the season's average at 21.8 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded three notches below average at 10.0 degrees Celsius.
