Mumbai: Bishop Gerald Issac Lobo to be felicitated on May 5

Mumbai, Mar 7: A meeting was held in Mumbai to prepare for felicitations to first and newly appointed bishop of Udupi Dr Gerald Isac Lobo.

The meeting was held at St Xavier Engineering College Hall.  Albert W D' Souza, managing director of Model Bank and Aldel Education society, presided over the meeting.

It was decided that the felicitation programme will be held on Sunday, May 5 at 4.30 pm at the St Xavier Engineering college grounds in front of Raheja hospital at Mahim west.  Rony R Mendonca, former police commissioner of Mumbai who was present as a guest gave suggestions to make the program a success and conveyed his best wishes.

Freddy Mendonca Mudarangadi, advocate Pius Vas, Henry Lobo, John D' Silva, Thomas Lobo Goregaon, Ronand Aranha, Lazarus Menezes, Vincent Mathais, Charles D' Cunha, George D' Souza Borivli, Lawrence Coelho, Walter Bothello, Lawrence D' Souza Mulund, William Sequeira, Lancy Tauro and Herald Castelino present on the occasion gave suggestions and wished the programme well. Lawrence D' Souza Kamani proposed vote of thanks.
