Paris, June 2: Leander Paes and Czech Republic's Martin Damm crashed out of the French Open men's doubles with a straight-set loss in the first round here today.
Paes and Damm were subdued by Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic and Mikhail Youzhny of Russia 6-1 7-6 (4) at Roland Garros.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Bhupathi has teamed up with 'Swiss Miss' Martina Hingis as he chases a Grand Slam of mixed doubles crowns.

Bhupathi and Hingis take on Sofia Arvidsson of Sweden and Australia's Stephen Huss in the opening round.
Leander Paes is paired with Russian beauty Maria Kirilenko and the duo face American third seeds Meghann Shaughnessy and Mike Bryan.
Sania Mirza will play alongside Paul Hanley of Australia and the pair is up against legendary Martina Navratilova and Bob Bryan of the US, the sixth seeds.
