Pleasant Saturday in Delhi, Sunday to be warmer


New Delhi, March 8 (IANS): The national capital experienced a pleasant Saturday with the maximum temperature recorded at 27.1 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average. Met has forecast a warm Sunday.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 28 degrees Celsius and 13 degrees Celsius respectively.

"The day will start with shallow fog but the skies will remain clear throughout the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department(IMD).

Saturday morning was pleasant but the day remained warm.

The minimum temperature was 12.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.

Friday's maximum temperature settled two notches below the season's average at 25.9 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was three notches below the season's average at 11 degrees Celsius.
