Delhi law student beaten, dies

New Delhi, March 8 (IANS): A law student died here Saturday after being beaten up by other students following a row over parking outside their college, police said. Two of the assailants were arrested.

Ayush Kaushal, 22, a Faridabad resident and a fourth year student of a private college in east Delhi, was attacked by Amit Nagar and Tanuj Tiwari along with other students outside the college gate, police said.

He was taken to a government hospital from where he was referred to another hospital where he died Saturday morning.

According to a college student, Kaushal Wednesday was parking his motorcycle outside the college main gate when Nagar and Tiwari prevented him from doing so.

An argument broke out but following intervention of some people, both parties apologised.

Friday when Kaushal was parking his motorcycle at the same place, Nagar and Tiwari along with four other students overpowered him and beat him black and blue, a police officer said.

Nagar and Tiwari were arrested while hunt is on to nab the others, he said.
