Warm Sunday in Delhi, Monday to be cloudy


New Delhi, March 9 (IANS): Delhi experienced a warm and sunny weekend with the maximum temperature recorded at 29 degree Celsius, one notch above the season's average. Monday will be cloudy and could see rains, forecast the met department.

The maximum and the minimum temperatures Monday will hover around 27 degrees and 15 degrees Celsius.

"The day will start with shallow fog while the skies will remain cloudy through out the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Light rain and thunder shower will occur in many parts of the national capital.

Sunday morning started with light fog but later the skies were clear and the day warm.

The minimum temperature Sunday was recorded at 14 degree Celsius, average for the season.
