18 tribesmen abducted from Pakistan's Peshawar


Islamabad, March 15 (IANS): At least 18 tribesmen were abducted by gunmen from the outskirts of Pakistan's Peshawar city, a media report said.

About 60 gunmen raided Faqeer Kalley in the Mashokhel area of Badbher, one km from city and kidnapped 18 people belonging to the Shinwari tribe of Afridis late Friday, Dawn online reported.

Also on Friday, at least nine people were killed and 35 injured when a suicide bomber attacked a police vehicle in Peshawar.
