Anna Hazare making baseless allegations, says aide

New Delhi, March 15 (IANS): A close aide of social activist Anna Hazare Saturday accused him of making baseless allegations regarding the turnout at a recently held rally of West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee in the national capital.

Addressing the media, Santosh Bharatiya, a former journalist, said Hazare should have kept his word despite the poor turnout at the rally.

Bharatiya said it is not a journalist's job to gather people.

Hazare Friday told the media that he was misled by the organisers of the rally as he was told it was organised by Banerjee.
