Six killed Pakistan explosion


Islamabad, March 19 (IANS): At least six people were killed Wednesday in a mortar shell explosion in Pakistan's North Waziristan area.

The explosion took place in Shawal, about 55 km west of the town of Miramshah, in North Waziristan, along the Afghan border, Dawn online reported.

The victims included a man, four women and a child.

At least half a kg of explosives were used in the bomb, bomb disposal squad (BDS) personnel said.
