Panaji, June 7: Shakir Mohd Umer Shareef, a 37-year-old trader was handed over a cheque of Rs 4.55 crore by Melville Patrao, COO, Pan India Network Infravest Pvt Ltd for being the first winner from Goa to win the Saturday Super Lotto jackpot at a glittering event.

Shareef had taken this lucky ticket from Cidla Online in Ponda. Bela Sequeira, the owner of Cidla Online also won Rs 4.5 lakh as a 1 per centagency commission from Playwin.

Overwhelmed with his stroke of luck, Shareef said, “It indeed was an exhilarating experience to be the lucky jackpot prize winner of Saturday Super Lotto. My wife and me are very thrilled with this stroke of luck on us. I didn’t even expect in my wildest dreams that I would be the fortunate winner to win this amount. I am still very excited and waiting for the news to sink in completely. I would invest some of the money in my business and the rest will keep it aside for higher quality education of my children. I thank Playwin for giving me this opportunity to fulfill my dreams.”
